A Brief History  

 

Safetycare was established in Melbourne in 1987.

At that time new occupational health and safety laws had been introduced and there was a clear need for Australian produced safety training video programs.  The only video programs that were readily available at the time were overseas programs, predominately from the USA and UK.  These were often inappropriate for the Australian market and were, in the main, very expensive. 

 

Safetycare was established with the aim to supply quality, affordable and relevant safety training video programs.

 

Over the years Safetycare has developed an extensive range of video programs and training manuals that cover all the key areas of safety.  Safetycare has also grown internationally and now operates from offices in Melbourne, Toronto, Los Angeles, London and Singapore.  Safetycare has also used its increasing expertise in occupational health and safety to offer a range of other services including, running regularly scheduled workshops in major capital cities, offering onsite training, and being available to our customers for general consultation on training and safety management issues.

 

Customer service has always been a priority at Safetycare.  Safetycare was the first company in the world to offer “no obligation free previews” of all its video programs.  In keeping with our desire to deliver quality customer service Safetycare has recently introduced a brand new service – an online video subscription service, called Montie. Montie allows our customers unlimited access to any or all of our programs through the internet by paying an annual subscription fee.  This service is convenient, time saving and cost effective.
